For us, this isn't just fundraising. It's personal. One of our own, Coach Dan, experienced the extraordinary care The Grand Appeal provides first-hand. His story is a powerful reminder of just how vital this charity is, and why we're so passionate about giving back to a cause that means so much to our team and our community.
🎅✨ Introducing Our Epic Christmas Charity Challenge Day!
On Wednesday 31st December, our camps are turning into a festive battleground as our coaches go head-to-head with the children in a trio of fun, fast-paced, and wonderfully silly Christmas challenges — all in the name of raising money for The Grand Appeal.
Here's what's in store:
✂️ 1. The Great Paper Chain Race
Teams have just 15 minutes to build the longest, most colourful paper chain. Will the coaches' precision beat the kids' energy and creativity?
🧠 2. The Big 3-Round Quiz Show
A rapid-fire, laughter-filled quiz testing teamwork, knowledge and reflexes. Expect surprises… and plenty of friendly bragging rights.
🔥 3. The Ultimate Dodgeball Battle
Coaches vs kids. Dodge, dip and dive your way to victory. Enough said.
And of course… it wouldn't be an Atlas challenge without a twist:
🎂 If the coaches lose — they get a pie straight to the face!
🎤 If the kids lose — they'll perform a song-and-dance number! (Only if they want to, of course!)

Duncan is our Director of Operations and the calm force keeping Atlas running like clockwork. When he's not turning big plans into everyday magic, he's busy keeping up with his two little boys, squeezing in a game of rugby, or gathering the whole family around the table for a fiercely contested board game. Steady, energetic and always game for a challenge.
